The Thorny Garden is an area accessible from the mouth in the Nexus.
Features
After the pristine red mouth chomps down on the world, Danaë is spat out in the middle of the Thorny Garden, surrounded by all manner of prickly vines, briars, burrs, and carnivorous plants. The panorama is a severed, rotten hand. Red birds that resemble peacocks sparsely populate the area.
Northeast of the entrance is a large human skull wrapped with a thick vine, tilted on its side, and missing a tooth and its lower jaw. Interacting with the red object beneath it suddenly begins a short scene, at the end of which Danaë will receive the Brambles key.
North or south of the entrance is a white object with a large pit in its center, lying in a puddle of blood. Entering it takes Danaë to the Flies Platform. Surrounding it are large pink flowers that seem to have mouths camouflaged as leaves, and above it is a bench.
Southeast of the entrance is a wandering humanoid monster, as well as a stationary satellite dish creature that takes Danaë to Things World. Attacking the monster transforms it into a chaser that traps Danaë in an isolated section of the Fantasy Bathroom.
