Fish World is a mostly empty world accessed through the fish-shaped cookie teleport rune in the sub-area of Dessert Fields.

Map of Fish World.

Features

Fish World is initially mundane, being mostly devoid of features. The only things to be found are abundant fish heads which riddle the area, a panorama of a gray, photorealistic yellowtail fish, and two fish-shaped teleporters leading to Dessert Fields and Obentou World.

However, a corruption event will occur after spending some time in this world. It starts with a loud thud and a flash of red, startling most unsuspecting players. After this point, the music will speed up significantly and the panorama will begin to scroll much faster. In this state, the fish heads will take on a much more colorful and distorted appearance. The screen will periodically shake violently accompanied by a thudding sound and occasional brief flashes of static. Once active, this event will persist until the area is exited.

Trivia

  • When interacting with the fish cookie in Dessert Fields, you can hear a Japanese text-to-speech voice say "ぶりぶり" (buriburi). "ぶり", or "buri", is the Japanese name for a yellowtail fish.
