Flicker Trail is a world accessible from the flashing keyhole in Orange Forest.
Features
Flicker Trail starts with a silent room with a doorway resembling both a key and a keyhole. Upon entering the area, is revealed to be a monochrome pathway filled with giant cubes, clock poles, flashing keyholes, and lightbulbs with bugs trapped inside.
After the first portion, which is simply a small walk southwest, a large piece of scenery depicting a strange creature fused with the ground and a parallax Garden World background, all shown as if inside of a CRT, will act as a passageway further into the area.
Even further in the area will be a vending machine and another CRT scenery, depicting a giant humanoid creature holding a head. Past this is the last extension of the trail, ending in a cube with a giant keyhole that leads to a single room with a small key. Upon interacting with the key, Urotsuki will be given Menu Theme #60.
Directions
- The Nexus → Garden World → Orange Forest → Flicker Trail
Without the Polygon effect:
- The Nexus → Abstract Corrosions → Pin Cushion Vineyard → Blue Palm Road → Orange Forest → Flicker Trail
Trivia
- The pixel art for the main area was done by an artist named miau, as part of a collaboration.
- This world was made to pay homage to 418's deleted worlds: the large cube structures resemble the ones in Vantablack World and the circular-pattern pathway resembles the path in Plant Labyrinth. The clock poles found throughout the world also resemble the ones seen in 418's other worlds: Garden World and Blue Forest.
