Yume 2kki:Endless Apartments: Difference between revisions

(Added descriptions of various rooms and the eye event. Also added info about the mechanics of the world from RPGMaker. I'm pretty sure I got it right, but if I didn't feel free to correct it.)

Endless Apartments is a world accessible from one of the houses in Memory Town.

Features

Endless Apartments visually resembles Urotsuki's Dream Apartments, but in grayscale. It is a maze-like world where you progress by entering doors, which lead to random rooms.

Each room varies in size and content, many of which contain various items of furniture seen in Urotsuki's Room, such as her bed, computer desk, closet, and curtains. Some rooms also have jail cell-like features with barred windows. One such room may contain a faceless Urotsuki in a cell, who does not react to any effects. There may be a hostile Shadow Lady in the cell instead, though she cannot harm you. The faceless Urotsuki also has a chance to appear in another room, in which she is standing on a staircase overlooking an outdoor area. There are bars preventing the player from reaching her in here as well. In one room, the curtains are open, letting Urotsuki exit to a balcony that, much like the rest of the apartments, is grayscale. The background image here occasionally glitches.

Each time you go through a door, there's a small chance you'll be transported to a small room with an open closet, though you are guaranteed to end up there after going through the rooms 50 times. Going into this closet will take you to the Faceless Urotsuki event. It should be noted that exiting through the door you came in at any point will send you back to the starting room and reset the counter, which means you must go through a different door in each room to reach the event.

Faceless Urotsuki

Once you enter the closet, you will end up in a long vertical corridor. After walking down the corridor for a while, there will be a brief glitch effect and any effects will be unequipped before you start to hear footsteps. Whether you continue to walk or not, it will eventually reveal the faceless Urotsuki from before rapidly approaching the player. Once caught, the screen will glitch again, briefly showing that the faceless Urotsuki now has one large eye on her face before cutting to black. The screen then cuts to a shot of a giant eye, presumably the aforementioned Urotsuki's. The eye occasionally twitches while quiet, distorted sounds play. After a few seconds of this, Urotsuki will wake up.
