It's appearance is that of a simple face with unevenly placed, square shaped eyes and a laughing red mouth. The eyes consist of two purple squares surrounding a small red square.
The Closet Creatures live inside wooden closets, appearing from the darkness once they are opened. Their faces are made up of unevenly placed, square-shaped eyes with purple sclera and red pupils as well as a small red mouth with its tongue sticking out.


It appears in all of the closets in [[The Guillotine World]] except for one, which is the one Madotsuki is able to use to escape to [[Number World]], exiting one of the closets in the [[Bed Room]]. If Madotsuki opens the closet inhabited by a Closet Creature, it will cackle and the closet immediately shuts again. Thus the Closet Creature seemingly mocks Madotsuki for choosing the wrong closet. The number of Closet Creatures in [[The Guillotine World]] depends on Madotsuki having entered Big Guillotine World or not.
The Closet Creatures are scattered throughout [[Yume Nikki:Guillotine World|Guillotine World]], inhabited all but one of the closets that are found throughout the world and its bigger variant. When the closets the Closet Creatures inhabit are opened, they will appear before Madotsuki, cackling before shutting the closet again, seemingly mocking her for choosing the wrong closet. They do not react to any [[Yume Nikki:Effects|effects]].


Curiously, it does not react to a single [[Effects|Effect]], not even the [[Effects#Stoplight_.EF.BC.88.E3.81.97.E3.82.93.E3.81.94.E3.81.86.EF.BC.89|Stoplight]] is able to stop this NPC from laughing at you, even though the [[Effects#Stoplight_.EF.BC.88.E3.81.97.E3.82.93.E3.81.94.E3.81.86.EF.BC.89|Stoplight]] commonly freezes all NPCs.
