Overview
Kinoko-san are NPCs found in the FC Basement. They appear to be mushroom like creatures that hide in two rooms in the basement: the room with the door leading to the room with the demon effect and in the room with the demon effect. These NPCs have different colors depending on their position.
Kinoko-san are small mushroom-like creatures that come in two colors: light blue and blue-gray, both variants having light cream-colored stalks. Two of the Kinoko-san variants have black dots on their caps, possibly resembling a hole or eye.

One of the Kinoko-san's may block the door to the room with the Demon effect in it but will move after a few seconds. The same thing might happen when re-entering the room for the room with the demon, trapping the player for a few seconds (due to the character's random movement).

Kinoko-san are NPCs found in the FC Basement.

Overview

Kinoko-san are small mushroom-like creatures that come in two colors: light blue and blue-gray, both variants having light cream-colored stalks. Two of the Kinoko-san variants have black dots on their caps, possibly resembling a hole or eye.

Kinoko-san hide in two rooms in the basement: the room containing the FC Demon and the room outside of the FC Demon's room, simply shifting around at a slow pace. One of the Kinoko-san may block the door to the FC Demon's room, though they will slowly move out of the way. The Cat effect can be used to move them away from the door, or the Knife effect can be used to clear them out of the way.

They do not do anything upon interaction and will move around randomly. Like most NPCs, they display the standard reactions to Cat, Knife, and Stoplight effects.

Trivia

 • In the game's files, there are unused dark and red variants of Kinoko-san, though they look largely the same as the used variants albeit with different colors. The smaller Kinoko-san in the room with the FC Demon changes into these unused sprites as a reaction to the Cat effect, although this is likely an error as this doesn't occur in any other found version.
 • The place where Kinoko-san are found may relate to how mushrooms have stimulated growth when exposed to jolts of electricity or large sounds simulating lightning strikes. They are located near the FC Demon, the giver of the Demon effect, which makes Madotsuki produce lightning strikes when it rains.
