Rainbow Tears is an area accessible from a functioning arcade machine in Dream Arcade.
Features
Rainbow Tears is a regular sized looping world. Lamposts, multicolored droplets and tiles decorate the area. As for the latter, they form paths and eye shapes on the floor. They play a sound (depending on their color) when stepped on. Additionally, rainbow rain pours from an unknown source. This weather can be changed with the Climate eidolon; however, the rain will remain rainbow colored as long as the player stays in Rainbow Tears.
Northwest from the Dream Arcade connection is a lamppost between two benches with a unique RGB light source leading to Neon Light Exhibition. A phonograph can be found northwest of this unique lampost, though nothing happens when it is interacted with.
Far to the northeast of the Neon Light Exhibition connection, a floating teal eye can be found surrounded by four lampposts. This eye connects to Blue Lagoon upon interaction.
Just southwest of the connection to Blue Lagoon is a group of four blue tiles. One of these blue tiles has a different appearance than the other blue tiles in its immediate vicinity. Standing on this odd blue tile and pressing the interact key will transport Minnatsuki to A Long Journey.
Most NPCs here consist of geometric shapes in solid colors. They do not respond to any eidola. However, northeast of the Dream Arcade entrance is Umbrella Kid, a green child who wears a yellow raincoat and holds a blue umbrella. Umbrella Kid responds to the following eidola:
- Climate and Kalimba: Follows the player while spinning and jumping.
- Soulfire: When equipped, the NPC animates faster and avoids the player. They have a 12.5% chance to drop 100 Luna upon death and will respawn upon exiting and reentering the world.
Directions
Nexus → Dream Arcade → Rainbow Tears
