The Desolate Hospital is an area accessible from the Ancient Aeropolis.

Map of the Desolate Hospital. (Note: Most of the doors are random)

Features

As described by this world's name, the area is a hospital that has long been abandoned and given over to time, resulting in its shambled state and its nostalgic yet eerie atmosphere. Many of the doors lead to randomly-selected destinations, making it difficult to tell if you are progressing through the world. Fortunately, the screen gets progressively darker as you explore, which helps give you an idea as to how close you are to the exit.

The area can be divided into several parts:

  • A section where the walls are made of blue bricks on the lower half

This is the section where you start off. It branches out quickly, has a number of dead ends, and the path to the next section can be entered by using the only staircase found here.

  • A somewhat dark section with walls that are covered in rust

This section is marked by having an abundance of stairs, as well as being the area with the most labyrinthic design. The path to the next section is marked by graffiti right next to another set of stairs going deeper below. Another notable feature is a big graffiti butterfly hidden in a dead end.

  • A section with red-colored walls, inhabited by yellow spectres

This section has fewer branching paths than the previous section, as well as an abundance of the aforementioned spectres. In the final part of this section, there is a white snake-like creature peeping out of a wall in the right side of the room. There is a chance that it will be red and have a different-looking eye.

  • A pediatric department, with painted walls depicting a field over a sunny sky

This area, unlike the sections before it, is straightforward without any passages that lead to random areas. Towards the end, static flashes fill the screen as you approach the door to its exit, which leads to a section filled with metal grating. Here, taking a look at the northern walls will pan the screen to the top, revealing the skies. The door here leads to a hall filled with boxes, with an exit to the Luminous Lake.

Directions

After visiting the Silent Sewers at least once:

Trivia

  • The section before the area's exit is tribute to one of the sections of the Abandoned Factory.
