The Emerald Cave is an area accessible from the pagoda in Oriental Lake.

Map of the Emerald Cave.

Features

The Emerald Cave is a series of cave tunnels with fluorescent lights built into the walls. The area itself has a green tint.

North from the center of the map is a yellow, grinning creature that somewhat resembles a Goppa from the original Yume Nikki. This NPC has three separate hitboxes, thus chainsawing it will only have a visual effect on the one-third of its lower body that you attacked. Despite this, it cannot actually be killed, meaning it can be chainsawed infinitely. Another weirdly shaped NPC resembling an eel can also be found that makes a low-pitched "thud" noise when interacted with.

By navigating to the southwest of the area, one can find a narrow tunnel that leads to the Mountainous Badlands.

Directions

Trivia

  • There is a visual glitch when entering from Mountainous Badlands where, for only a split second, the green tint will not be present, giving the area a much more saturated color palette
