Lavender Waters is an area accessible by passing through the door where you enter from the Rainfall Ruins when it isn't raining.

Map of Lavender Waters.

Features

Lavender Waters is a calm, openly-looping lake dotted with leafless trees next to lavender flowers, where the waters reflect the cloudy skies. Navigation here is done with the boat, save for the house's pier, the area's sole point of interest. This house cannot be entered, as the door seems to be locked. Just near the house is a swan, who will give you Menu Theme #35 upon interaction. The swan will also flee from you if you use the Wolf effect.

By using the Rainbow effect, a transparent rainbow will appear above the house's roof. Equipping the Insect effect will change the color of the lavender flowers to blue. Right next to the house is a chair, where sitting on it long enough will wake Urotsuki up, though only if no effects are equipped. This chair may not always appear upon entering this area, and if that happens, there will also be a slow rain.

Directions

If the connection from the Library to the Infinite Library has been unlocked:

If the connection from Urotsuki's Dream Apartments to Fossil Lake is active:

Trivia

  • This area was one of the two deepest areas in the game, as of 0.113b. It, along with the Tomb of Velleities was surpassed by the addition of Moonview Lane in v0.115, until the addition of shortcuts to Totem Hotel in 0.117g patch 5. It was surpassed again when Wataru's worlds were readded to the game in v0.119d Patch 1, making the Depths the deepest location once again.
  • This place shares a lot of similarities with Lotus Waters.
  • In a previous version, you were able to walk on the surface of the water using the Insect effect.
  • Most event-related chairs involving Urotsuki falling asleep will automatically unequip any effects being used, however the chair in this area seemingly doesnt. Sitting in the chair next to the house with an effect equipped allows you to sit there indefinitely without triggering the wake up event.
