Check-Disk Nexus is an area accessible from the ground floor of Urotsuki's Dream Apartments.

Features

Check-Disk Nexus is a primarily monochrome world, with a white void as a background. Upon entering from Urotsuki's Dream Apartments, the first room is bordered by black squares, and contains an array of several glitchy visual effects. Interacting with any of them transforms Urotsuki into the one she interacted with; however, the one on the bottom right will at first do nothing. If the turquoise entity mask in Meadow of Faces has been obtained, then this glitch will apply said mask. At the bottom of the room is a computer with a red eye on its screen, which does nothing.

In the center is a glitch effect within a black square. Touching it takes Urotsuki to the main area of the nexus, in front of another glitch. When first arriving in this area, there will be four static effects surrounding it. Below the four doors is the teleporter to Bacteria World. Further north is a monochrome glitch in the middle of a patterned floor, which returns Urotsuki to the first room.

Entering the center glitch leads to a smaller room in which a monochrome NPC wanders around. Around the room are six greyed-out icons of computer files. At the top is a computer with a red eye on its screen, which returns Urotsuki to the main nexus.

At first, the nexus will contain only static effects. In order to restore this nexus, each must be visited in their corrupted states and a file recovered from each, which will allow you to enter these worlds properly.

  • The north exit leads to Candle Block World. When this area is restored, the static becomes a door with a pyramid on it.
  • The east exit leads to Bloodied Mural World. When this area is restored, the static becomes a door with some kind of shape on it.
  • The west exit leads to Spiral Sign Abyss. When this area is restored, the static becomes a door with a spiral on it.
  • The south exit leads to Numeral Hallways. When this area is restored, the static becomes a door with a 2 on it.

Once the worlds are restored, more files can be found in them. Each of these files unlocks one in the NPC's room, and can be interacted with to cause cosmetic changes to the NPC. The Glasses effect can be used to revisit the corrupted versions of the worlds.

  • The top left file is found in Candle Block World, and causes the NPC to gain much more hair.
  • The top right file is found in Neon Circle Walkway, and causes the NPC's head to change to some kind of star or flower shape, with a single eye.
  • The rightmost file is found in Vibrant Lamppost World and Spiral Sign Abyss, and causes the NPC to become tiny.
  • The bottom right file is found in Indigo Pyramid Heaven, and causes the NPC's head to turn into a beetle.
  • The leftmost file is found in X-Maze, and causes the NPC to transform into a floating ghost-like creature with four arms that it waves about.
  • The bottom left file is found in Bloodied Mural World, and causes the NPC to transform into a puddle of blood.

Directions

Trivia

  • The turquoise entity mask from Meadow of Faces may need to be unlocked more than once.
  • There used to be a connection to this world via The Nexus. If the Corrupted Nexus had been visited, interacting with the Bacteria World connection (while in the Nexus) with the Invisible effect activated would lead here, but the feature was removed when the Bacteria World connection in the Nexus was removed in 0.125g. Also, there was a connection to the Nexus from this world after "restoring" it, but it was a one-way connection unless those conditions mentioned prior were satisfied.
