Sunken Spore Sea is a world accessible from the curtained doorway in Crimson Labyrinth.

Features

This underwater space trails past groups of varied fungus and bubbles rising from trenches. Clear crystals rotate aimlessly, making a clinking sound upon interaction.

Arriving from Crimson Labyrinth places Urotsuki in a decrepit aquarium tunnel. Exiting and going north, one will encounter speedy Shadow Ladies, but the chasers will be trapped and unable to harm Urotsuki.

Slightly northwest of the tunnel to Crimson Labyrinth, a red construction sign sits. Further northwest, the trails gather at a pack of cyan mushrooms leading to Legacy Nexus. A standard vending machine is located northwest of there.

Southwest of the Crimson Labyrinth entrance, one of two buildings has an unblocked doorway. Inside, interacting with the front of the character will show a fullscreen view of a drawing. Interact again and the character will disappear. A blue glow illuminates the interior and the doorway will now lead to Sapphire Hand Town.

Each time the main area is entered (from Legacy Nexus, the building to Sapphire Hand Town, or the tunnel to Crimson Labyrinth), the portal that would usually connect The Nexus to Mushroom World has a seemingly low chance to appear in a ring of mushrooms east of the Crimson Labyrinth entrance. Interacting with it will teleport Urotsuki to the same portal in Mushroom World with no direct means of returning.
