Ittan-momen is an effect NPC that can be found in the Infinite Wilderness. It grants Madotsuki the Towel effect.
Overview
Ittan-momen resembles a beige towel with two dark red eyes. It flutters as it moves, causing a zigzag shape in their form. When interacted with, they give the Towel effect to Madotsuki. Otherwise, they do not do much else other than wander the Wilderness.
Trivia
- They resemble and are named after the ittan-momen, a yōkai resembling a long sheet of cloth. The ittan-momen is reported to attack people by wrapping themselves around the head or neck of the victim, which could describe how the Towel effect wraps around Madotsuki.[1]
- In versions 0.04 through 0.08, Ittan-momen was located just outside of the Barracks Settlement instead of in the Infinite Wilderness.
