Space is an area located in Tapir-San's Place after Urotsuki chainsaws Tapir-San's back and goes inside with the Spacesuit effect equipped.

Map of Space

Features

Space is a fairly limited area with some planets and astronauts roaming around. There's no portal to return to Tapir-San's Place. If you change effects, Urotsuki will fall and wake up on her room's floor.

If you head right from the entry point, you will eventually come to a single, small, golden moon. If Urotsuki has the Fairy effect (not equipped) and moves over the moon, she'll be taken to its surface, upon which is what appears to be a playground. Upon entering, there is a chance for a black, shadowy shape to appear to the right of the slide. By heading to either side of the screen, Urotsuki will be taken back to Space. There currently seems to be nothing to interact with in the playground. However, when unequipping the Spacesuit effect here, Urotsuki will experience a unique falling sequence not seen in the larger Space area, and instead of waking up, she will end up in a somewhat glitched Urban Street Area with the Fairy effect equipped.

Trivia

  • In 0.101a, there was an area accessible via entering Mars, which spelude contributed. It depicted the moon during a total lunar eclipse, and was removed in 0.102a. This area was created in commemoration of the October 2014 lunar eclipse, which occurred five days prior to its implementation.
  • The BGM here is from a sample disc containing royalty-free loops called Pandora's Toolbox by David Torn. An example of its use elsewhere is Track 3 of Otogi: Myth of Demons, a Sega game released for the Xbox in 2002.
