Honeycomb World is an area accessible from a mug in Coffee Cup World.

Map of Honeycomb World.

Features

This is a small area with a honeycomb-patterned floor, where smiling bees may be found frolicking around the place. Equipping the Insect, Fairy, or Teru Teru Bōzu will make them look much happier than they already are, while the Lantern and Chainsaw yield the opposite reaction. A pink bee from Pink Honeycomb can also be seen wandering the area.

The central section of this area houses the queen bee on a makeshift throne of honeycombs. Killing the queen bee will make the screen turn monochrome before waking Urotsuki. While the Insect effect is equipped, interacting with the queen bee will take you to the Honeybee Laboratory. Northwest of the queen, there is a mug that will take you to Coffee Cup World.

There is a 10% chance when entering the area that there will be no bees other than the queen, that the background music will fade out shortly after entry, and that the mug will be empty instead of full of honey. Killing the queen bee under these conditions will not wake Urotsuki, and she may sit on the vacant honeycomb throne afterwards. While the bees are gone, there will be a cocoon above the queen that will lead to Silkworm Forest. The bees will still be gone when Urotsuki returns from there.
