Graffiti World is one of the twelve original locations accessible directly from the Nexus.

Map of Graffiti World

Features

It is a large, openly-looping world with few solid obstacles. The floor is largely covered with colorful tiles resembling graffiti artwork, each making a unique noise when stepped on. Together, the tiles make up a huge floor pattern, resembling a strange smiling monkey and a seemingly worried eel-like creature with an anglerfish lure. The background music consists of a deep hum that can also be heard in Hell and Mini Hell. The parallax background consists of a singular piece of artwork resembling a cell with two figures inside.

By heading directly west as soon as the area is entered from the Nexus, the player will come across the Bicycle effect, which is located directly inside the lure of the eel-like pattern. A small building in the area's southeast portion has an elevator which will take Madotsuki to the Mall. A women's restroom can also be found here, which can be entered if the Bicycle, Severed Head, or Umbrella effects aren't equipped.

Directions

Nexus → Graffiti World

Trivia

  • The parallax background of Graffiti World appears to resemble E-Man and O-Man together. These two NPCs are found in the Mall, which is connected to Graffiti World.
  • In older versions of Yume Nikki, the layout of this world was more simple.[1]
  • Versions 0.04 and 0.06 had an additional purple gate that connected this world to the Neon Tile Path.
