The Seabed is an area accessible from the waters of the Beach, or through the Sewers.
Features
The first thing you'll likely notice when entering the Seabed is that the Scooter effect no longer speeds you up. As the Seabed is underwater, it's ineffective, and you must instead use the Diving Suit effect.
The Seabed itself is a bright area full of multicolored fish, coral, and various species of seaweed. There are also a couple of rocks, starfish, and air bubble vents. The fish move around quickly and randomly, and do not have collision. When the Wrench effect is equipped, they will speed up frantically, but are immortal; you cannot hit them.
At the southernmost end, a pipe opening can be found, leading to the top of the Sewers. At the northernmost end, you can surface to the Beach. To the west, a small bubble vent can be entered, leading to a 2D cavern with a fairy.
The main point of interest is a small chamber to the east, containing a cyan fish, multiple bubble vents, and a rainbow flashing crack on the northernmost wall. Interacting with it triggers the Flying Tuna event, in which a multicolored tuna fish covers the screen, shifting hues as a gentle tune plays. This grants a feat.
Trivia
- The Flying Tuna event is based on dreams that the creator, Jojogape, would have in the past, featuring multicolored fish and boats swimming through the night sky.
- The title theme of Someday is also named Flying Tuna, but for a different reason.
- The Fairy area is a reference to AQUOR, a game made by Koronba, best known for other works.
