Retro Cartridge Game is an area accessible from Checkered Towers.

Features

This world plays like a 2D Sidescroller, only letting Urotsuki walk left and right. You cannot jump, so your only method of elevation is the various ladders scattered about the map.

There are numerous yellow coins scattered about, and upon collection Urotsuki receives an amount of money equal to Variable 44.

Going right from the entrance from Checkered Towers, there is a pit that Urotsuki must fall down to proceed. She'll fall for several screens, before landing in a pit of what looks to be skeletons. If you go left from here, you'll find a blue streetlight that will take you to [Streetlight World]. If you go up the ladder here, you'll find a small room with two shield creatures and a coin.

Going back down and going to the right of the skeleton pile, there will be a room with several ladders and a skull. Going two more screens to the right will lead you to a room with a double-width ladder that, when you climb up, will take you to a place that looks like a grocery store. Going all the way right from there will take you to the [Shop].

Trivia

  • This area's artstyle is based on early video game graphics. As such, it resembles the graphics of early consoles like the Atari 2600, as well as the style of other modern homages, like the hidden minigames in the Five Nights at Freddy's series.
