Vending Machine

Jihanki pudding world.png This vending machine has the same color as the puddings which inhabit the world. It only sells pudding for 200夢.

Pudding World is one of the main areas accessible from The Nexus.

Map of Pudding World.

Features

This area contains candles and is home to walking candles, a row of pudding lake is found somewhere where most of the walking candles are located; this world is a reference to Yume Nikki's Candle World. Entering this area for the first time grants you Wallpaper #318.

If you make it rain using the Teru Teru Bōzu effect, the screen will turn black, then you will find yourself in a darker world, where an ominous music is playing, all candles are unlit and everything is greyish. If you use the Lantern effect, you can brighten the world. To light the candles back up, you will need to access the area from The Nexus with the Lantern equipped.

Immediately north of the entrance is a wobbling object that resembles flan. Interacting with it leads to Soy Basket Void. Further northeast, a teru teru bōzu can be seen hanging. Above it, there is a lit candlestick; interacting with it leads to Candlestick World.

Directly south of the entrance is a large pudding candle with a slanted pillar sticking out of it. Interacting with it from the front will take you to Pillar Ark. Equipping the Marginal effect will transform this connection into a monstrosity that will bring you to an isolated section of Blue Apartments.

There are two inconspicuous candles next to each other southeast from the entrance, going between the candles will take you to Orange Badlands. Shortly southeast of these two candles is a vending machine and a bench with one of the area's inhabitants occupying it. Chainsawing the creature will transform Urotsuki into the Pudding Person, allowing you to take control of it.

There's also a walking unkillable, red liquor bottle northeast of the entrance; interacting with it will take you to the Liquor Bottle Area.

Liquor Bottle Area

The Liquor Bottle Area (ガラス, Garasu, Glass) was a small zone with glasses of alcohol as walls, bottles of blue and green liquor scattered around and other structures made of glass and white outlines of sad and injured hearts could be seen here too. Some red NPCs made of glass could be found around the area. Killing them had a 13% chance of giving 120夢.

As of 0.119c patch 3, this area has been replaced by a long bricked hallway with blue grass which can be freely walked around in. Two big, blue bottles with a glass door can be seen here, and the remainder of the area is blocked off by a construction sign while it is being overhauled.

Directions

  • The Nexus → Pudding World

Trivia

  • The Liquor Bottle Area was once accessible from the Fuchsia Suburbs, at the same house that takes you to the Opal Ruins B.
    • The area was inaccessible due to the disappearance of the walking bottle that takes you to the area due to a bug, but was made accessible once again in version 0.115g.
