Amusement Park workers
A group of anthropomorphic animals or NPCs in animal costumes that can be found working in the Amusement Park. They are seen performing various tasks. For example, selling balloons or exchanging tickets for amusement park rides. The animals are designed like dogs, rabbits, gummy bears or cats. A single gray rat can also be seen spinning the Ferris wheel around.
Butterflies
Butterflies are decorative NPCs that appear in multiple areas like the Spring World and Hothouse.
Chairs
Chairs are objects found in the Warehouse that are revealed to be sentient when they run away as Wormiko equips the Fire Axe effect and scream when killed.
Cheese Maze NPCs
A group of NPCs that can be found walking around in the Cheese Maze. These include:
- A yellow animal with a long face.
- A pair of dentures.
- A gorilla with a pink face.
- A cow-like animal with a long face.
- Gravestones that change size horizontally.
- A red organ.
- A skinned bird with a red face.
- Two animals connected by a cord.
- Chicks and a green face eating them.
- Conjoined twins reading a newspaper.
- A spinning boy with a ball-like body.
- A tiger.
- A green-haired girl which splits into two when hit with the Fire Axe effect.
- A male body split into four blue containers.
- A bloated man in a blue suit.
- A mouse.
- A bear with butterfly wings.
- A pink jellyfish-like animal.
- An odd shaped bird stuck in a cage.
- A winking ghost.
- A crocodile that sticks its tongue out.
- A green dog.
- A blue whale.
- A shark fin.
Cubic Cat
A cat sitting down with a cube-shaped face can be found in the southernmost part of Low-poly Town.
Drinking Animals
The Drinking Animals are a group of animals that can be found drinking from the water in Swamp World. Among them are a turtle, a giraffe, a tiger, two cow-like creatures, and an unidentified grey animal. They all have very long necks and round bodies, giving them a strange appearance. These animals can be killed with the Fire Axe effect, but otherwise cannot be interacted with.
Egg
An egg that can be hit with the Fire Axe effect to reveal a tired-looking face in Meat World. Possibly inspired by the Pain Blob in the original Yume Nikki.
Giant Catgirl
A giant catgirl with a white snake tail can be seen sleeping on the roof of a two-floor apartment building in the Zombie Apartment. Wormiko can only look at her.
Guiding Alien
A gray alien can be found on the upper part of the Moon that warps Wormiko to a path that leads to the Artsy Apartments.
Hanfuko
A girl that appears in a room in the Factory. She has a pink dress resembling a hanfu and pink space buns with a red ribbon in them. Upon interaction, she teleports to another room in the Factory.
She is based on Chang'e, the Chinese goddess of the moon.
Model N3K-0
This blue-haired robotic catgirl maid is located in the Nexus. She opens up like a door upon interaction, showing a menu with all the Nexus warps in it. Clicking on one favorites it; only the favorite warp will appear on the conveyor belt until you warp back.
Meating
A cut of meat that can be seen moving horizontally in the Meat World.
Mimi
A floating fish-like creature with transparent skin that can occasionally be found in the Moon Ornament. Initiates the Flight of Human Fireworks event when interacted with.
Moving Fence
A moving fence can be seen moving in a horizontal line in Ancient Civilization.
Mutilated Bodies
A group of mutilated bodies can be found in Spring World. Some of them are impaled from the body, some have no arms and one is laying on the ground with its limbs stretched out.
Nini
Nini lives in a black and white cone-shaped house in the Rainy Islands. She has a pink sweater with a spiral pattern on it, a cream-colored scarf, big green eyes, and black hair. She is a reference to Poniko, with her house and event resembling their counterparts in Yume Nikki.
Using the Detective effect in her house will change her appearance to have pink eyes and cowprint-adjacent hair, alluding to her event.
Striped Fish
An orange-white striped fish can be seen swimming in the air near the entrance of Seaside that warps you back to the Nexus. The fish is fossilized from the Nexus side.
Penguins
Blue penguins habitate the Penguin Land and some of them can also be seen wearing a straw hat.
Pigs
A group of small pigs can be found inside the broken piggy bank in Meat World.
Red Heart
A moving red heart symbol serves as the connection between the Nexus and Meat World.
Slime Catgirl
Green slimy chasers that appear in Hothouse and Red Totem Passage. Can also be encountered in the Catgirl Ambush event.
Friendly versions of the Slime Catgirls can be found in some locations. The green haired girl can be found in the Majestic Garden. The red-haired one can be found fishing in the Docks and Lotus Marsh, warping the player between the two locations.
Teleporter Fish
A moving fish that serves as the connection between the night version of Seaside and the Old Apartment Building.
Tōmeiko
Tōmeiko is an invisible maid found in Cake Tower. When interacted with, she will teleport the player to a room that holds the Dining Table effect.
Using the Detective effect reveals her to have pale white skin, black hair, cat ears & tail, and no face. Her appearance in this form seems to reference the yōkai Noppera-bō who are faceless ghosts that distinguish as humans. She cannot teleport the player to the Dining Table effect in this form.
Weird Bird subarea NPCs
A group of NPCs that can be found walking around in the Swamp World’s subarea. These include:
- A yellow bird with psychedelic patterning.
- A walking footrest.
- A white cat in a caveman outfit carrying a club.
- A paper-cutout resembling three angels.
- A blue face with green pants and brown legs.
- A walking tooth with eyes.
- A juggler.
- A singing flower.
- A schoolboy walking with its deformed mouth.
- A seal spinning a globe.
- Abstract purple shapes.
- Two talking blue guys with purple hair.
- A walking egg.
Worm
A worm that warps you back to the Nexus from Spring World. The worm is twirled inside a glass container from the Nexus side.
Zombies
A group of zombies can be seen walking around outside a chain fence in the Zombie Apartment.
