Irving's Room is where the game begins, and where Irving lives.

Features

Irving's Room is where Irving resides and where the game begins. It is a square-ish room with brown walls, red carpeted floor, and several pieces of furniture including a bookshelf filled with several items, a couch, a potted plant, a wardrobe, a TV set with a game console, a blue bed, and a desk. The desk has both a phone unit and a book atop it which the player can use to save the game and view the Bestiary respectively. Some pillows, a satchel, and a blue carpet with a flower-like pattern lay on the floor.

If the player enters the blue bed, the room will darken, but Irving will not immediately drift off to sleep. Upon interacting again, a countdown will start which will send Irving to the dream world.

On the right side of the room are three doorways that lead to different areas. Directly to the right is a bathroom with a black-tiled floor. Downward is a kitchen with a door leading outside. Upward is another door which also leads outside.

Outside

Outside of Iriving's residence is a lonely, rainy apartment complex made up of brick buildings. The outside is mainly filled with growing plant beds, bushes, and several trash bins. A sidewalk with a bus stop can be found at the bottom of the outside area. There is another door leading to another complex to the left of Irving's residence, though it can not be entered.

A back alley section can also be accessed from the kitchen or by entering between the buildings from the front of the complex, though it does not have much other than some sheds and plant beds.

Dream Representation

In the dream version of Irving's room, the two doors leading to the kitchen and bathroom are both gone, leaving only the door to the outside, which now leads to the Nexus. An additional table is added to the right side of the room with a potted plant, cup, book, and photo frame. Oddly, the satchel that was on the floor in Irving's real room is now missing.
