Fasciation World is a looping monochromatic area. It features a floor that is in some parts transparent, and in other parts covered in opaque black patches with patterned borders. This floor is set atop a scrolling backdrop that consists of an animated sequence of CT scan slices of a human face. This world is populated with black-and-gray flora, including oversized flowering plants that occasionally exhibit an elongated flower or flower head, as well as crested cacti.
Flanked on each side by a pair of giant disembodied hands that each bear eight fingers, there is an ornate gray tile shaped like a diamond, which serves as the connection to Autumnal Equinox.
