Steve 'Leif' Kareha is an NPC found in Number World.

Overview

Steve 'Leif' Kareha is a blue snail with a purple shell. It has two protrusions from its back that resemble wings, feathers, or the heads of fish. These protrusions have red eyes on them, and they flash different colors: its left wing flashes pink, yellow, and purple while its right wing flashes orange, red, and green. It swims westward across the canal found in the south of Number World's first room. The same canal it inhabits can also be found through a door in Lamp World.

As a snail-like creature, it swims incredibly slow, making it difficult to witness. By using the Cat effect to attract it towards Madotsuki or equipped the Knife effect to make it move more frequently, the player is much more likely to see it swim by. When the Stoplight effect is used, its wings will fold and its red eyes will close. While Steve normally only faces and travels to the left, using the Cat effect will make it face to the right before proceeding left again, no matter Madotsuki's position when using the effect.

Trivia

• The noclip glitch allows the player to access Leif's area and kill him with the Knife effect, which is normally impossible.
• Steve 'Leif' Kareha was named by Uboachan users in a thread sharing discoveries. A user suggested combining the three proposed names for the character into one.
