Map of the Field of Cosmos

The Field of Cosmos is an area accessible from the Lamplit Stones.

Features

The Field of Cosmos is world that serves as a gateway between Lamplit Stones and Adabana Gardens. Like the name suggests, the area is composed of many cosmos flowers in pink, white and magenta surrounding the various paths. There are also little white flowers and stones scattered throughout the big paths. There are also some smaller paths that branch out into the flowers that serve as shortcuts. There are 2 rows of statues that can be found in this area, if you brought the seasonal hat from Home Within Nowhere with you, you can put the hat on the statues. These hats will persist between dreams, allowing you to store off-season hats for later use.

There is the potential for a door to show up in one of the transitional hallways leading to Bubble World. In order for the door to be able to appear, you must have visited all four transitional hallways, with two of them being in Field of Cosmos and the other two being in Adabana Gardens. The door will show up in the last hallway you arrive in.

It is possible for Shimako to show up in this world, particularly in the area with the two small temples, if you have visited Adabana Gardens and encountered her there before arriving in Field of Cosmos. While present, she will refuse to look at the player, though the Telephone effect will grab her attention. If the player touches Shimako, she will vanish.

Trivia

  • The statues which allow you to place the hats appear to be jizō, a type of Japanese gravestone belonging to children. It is customary in Japan to adorn these statues in children’s clothing.
