The Grand Beach is an area accessible from the passageway in the Marine Pavilion of the Silhouette Complex after meeting certain conditions.

Map of the Grand Beach.

Features

The Grand Beach, named because of its expansive scale, is a peaceful, pastel-colored beach with coconut trees, starfishes, and seashells along the way. It is inhabited by jellyfishes and living starfishes, where equipping the Drum effect will make these jellyfishes set their eyes on Urotsuki.

There is a section within the southeastern region, with oranges in the waters surrounding it, where there is a metal container of candy, identical to Sakuma Drops, with an opening which is accessible by the player with the Fairy, Child or Dice effects, or with the Grave with the body underground. This leads to a room where you can meet the Can-dwelling Shark, whose expression depends on the following effects:

  • Bike, Insect, Stretch: The shark will stop moving its mouth, adopting a more serious pose.
  • Chainsaw: The shark will open its eyes and become more agitated, fully opening its mouth as well.
  • Fairy, Child: The shark will appear glad, and a yellow shine will be seen on its head.
  • Haniwa, Polygon: The shark will open its eyes.
  • Trombone (when played), Drum: The shark will appear happy.
  • Red Riding Hood: The shark will appear glad (as with the Fairy/Child effect), but without the yellow shine.
  • Railroad Crossing: The shark will stop moving.

In the southwestern region, there is a turtle known as the Maligned Turtle, named as such because of how Urotsuki refuses to interact with it. Using the Glasses will reveal that it is some kind of garbled mass. Interacting with this turtle has a 1/64 chance of taking you to the Wounded Turtle World.
