Legacy of Ruin is an area accessible from the last traincar in the Nightmare Express.

Annotated map of Legacy of Ruin.

Features

Legacy of Ruin's main area resembles that of Legacy Nexus, though heavily distorted. While in the main area, a colourful transparent static overlay will heavily impair vision.

The door at the start, near the Nightmare Express exit, leads to a green sunlit room with a small tree in the middle. Below this door is the entrance to the second section, an open magenta area. Northwest of the entrance is a being laying on the ground with censored speechbubbles implying it is saying profanity. West of this being is the exit to a new section of the main area.

The first door after the magenta area leads to a room with a very blue floor resembling ice. The second door leads to a room with a creature whose eye moves very slightly after the fade-in to enter the room is finished. Stepping on the figure on the ground past both these doors leads to the legacy museum, the third section. The legacy museum is an area with a purple floor and maroonish walls, with many cones scattered around and a few objects on display.

The one-way from Underground Subway can be found here, in an isolated section next to one of the doors. The door inside the isolated section leads to a small section with a telephone and a door to Underneath, which can be accessed with the Spring effect. This passage is one-way from the top to the bottom.

Exiting the legacy museum will place Urotsuki on a very thin path in the main area that weaves between another path. Many Faceless Urotsuki chasers can be seen attempting to reach Urotsuki in isolated sections near this path. The door here leads to the black hole room, in which is a being made of black holes. When interacted with, it will play a fullscreen event featuring a white and orange spiral. After this event is closed, the being will be gone. Interacting with the red being at the end of the path in the main area leads to Sarah's fake apartments.

Sarah's fake apartments resembles Sarah's room in Underneath, with its orange and yellow monochrome aesthetic. Effects cannot be equipped in this area, and Urotsuki will be rendered completely orange while exploring this area. The middle door past the dressers leads to a small room completely filled with the NPCs that dot this area. The left door leads to a grid of rooms, with most having NPCs in them. The only accessible room out of the grid has a teleport in it that leads back to the main area, on the fourth and final path.

The fourth and final path of the main area is the path that the third path weaves between. On the way is a door which leads into a very sloppily coloured room with a large uninteractable being in the middle. At the end of this path is the cube that takes Urotsuki to the TST_MAP as a one-way connection.
