Tanuki Tail Portrait is an area accessible by interacting tanuki tail with a leaf in the Oriental Dojo.
Features
Tanuki Tail Portrait is large area set in a picture of some plates, bowls, and a tanuki head and tail, all of which Urotsuki is able to walk on, but not on the white parts of the background. The area is filled with large tanuki tails and paint brushes, alogside multiple strange and colorful NPCs that populate it.
Upon entering this world from the tanuki tail in Oriental Dojo, Urotsuki is placed in a plate with many spinning crescent moon-shaped creatures, equipping the Insect effect makes them stop moving and changes their colors, using the effect makes them quickly surround Urotsuki.
North from the entrance is a leaf where a octopus-like person wanders. He will quickly move left and right if the Spacesuit effect is equipped, and move up and down if the effect is used. If the Haniwa effect is equipped, he will quickly move to the right in a zigzag, and move to the left if the effect is used.
From the entrance, heading northwest leads to a soup bowl on a plate. The plate is filled with various cow-like creatures that will approach Urotsuki if the Dice effect is equipped, and using the effect will make them spin in place. A group of paint brushes makes a path to the bowl, which houses a man with a crescent moon for a head who will jump when interacted with. His head will become a full moon and approach Urotsuki if the Wolf or Bunny Ears effect is equipped, changing the color of the Bunny Ears will make him semitransparent while looking at Urotsuki.
Heading southwest from the entrance leads to a towel with a yellow fish-like creature. The creature will quickly run away from Urotsuki if the Tissue effect is equipped or used, and will change to a pink color with a red eye if the Marginal effect is equipped.
Heading directly south from the entrance leads to a tanuki head populated by blue pogo stick-like creatures, a vending machine can also be found here. The pogo stick creatures will change colors and follow Urotsuki around if the Trombone or Yellow Raincoat combo effect is equipped, and will jump in place if the Trombone effect is used.
Heading northeast from the entrance leads to a path of noodles leading to a bowl on the north, and a tanuki tail on the right. The tail contains multiple colorful moving balls with eyes, equipping the Spring effect makes them approach Urotsuki, equipping the Drum effect makes them stop in place and turn monochrome with hollow face. At the southmost part of the tail is a small duck wearing a red and white bandana that stares at Urotsuki, equipping the Drum effect makes it move in place, and using the effect makes it quickly spin. Equipping the Chainsaw effect makes the duck pull out two butcher knives, attempting to chainsaw the duck makes it flash.
On the bowl on the northeast part of the map is a tanuki girl wandering around. She will approach Urotsuki if the Wolf, Maiko, Drum or Dice effect is equipped, jumps in place if the Wolf, Drum or Maiko effects are used, and spins if the Dice effect is used. She stares at Urotsuki if the Gakuran or Boy effect is equipped, and will run away if those effects are used, if the Teru Teru Bōzu effect is equipped, or if the area is raining. Attempting to chainsaw the tanuki will result in her transforming into a tree log.
