Vending Machine

Jihanki AmoebaWoods.png Found by going north and west from the entrance from the blue hallway. Next to the machine is a long log that serves as a bench.

The Amoeba Woods is an area accessible from Cipher Keyboard through the door on the T key.

Features

Amoeba Woods is a relatively bare area in a standard deep woods style, with the only decorations being the trees, the canopy cover they sport, and the various pulsating cyan amoeba NPCs wandering around. They all make the same sound, but the pitch depends on which shape they are. Heading directly north of the entrance one can find lakes and ponds filled with purple liquid and a pink striped rune teleporter with a construction sign on it. Other small islets in this lake sport stone brick pads and NPCs resembling tube coral in orange, mint, and blue, as well as a dark green that is not visible before entering the teleport maze they comprise.

Heading to the south end of the world allows you to access the islets on the lake via a wooden bridge. The islets and their bridges comprise the first maze of the world, with the southernmost point containing a large magenta gate that leads to Magenta Village. Also present in the maze is a teal tube coral sitting inside a larger stone brick pad, which appears to actually be a sandbox. Interacting with the tube coral leads to a teleport maze - Although initially thought to have a matching color mechanic, the tube corals' color does not matter.

The maze contains various islands with special shapes, such as a hollow triangle or a fish skeleton (which is right next to the Magenta Village arch). Amoeba NPCs found in the maze will float above the trees and coral, and will not block your path. At some point during maze navigation, one can find an islet with 4 corals on it and an empty pit, which reveals a mint tube coral when the Glasses effect is flicked. In order to use this coral, you must wander the maze until a low synth tone is heard, which will toggle the tube. The tube can be toggled back off again though, so tread carefully. Using it sends you to a small island with two red signs and a construction sign between it, hinting at a future connection. Also present on the island is the only moving tube coral NPC, which is blue and does not have a sand pit. It will send you back when interacted with. The island can be seen from the top edge of the map, and when the red signs are not unlocked it will have a stationary star shaped amoeba on it.
