Annotated map of the area.

The Sandy Cavern is an area accessible from the Amoeba Woods.

Features

Sandy Cavern is a large maze area, made out of sandstone walls. Across the maze, there are multiple doors which teleport the player to another corresponding door, as shown by letters in the (outdated) map.

When entered from Amoeba Woods, the player will first find themselves in a small patch of grass with trees;

East of this isolated green area, is another similar one, but with a closed eye looking object on the wall, instead of the teleport back to Amoeba Woods. The player will need to go through any of the doors at least 20 times for the eye to open, the 20th, 21st and 22nd crosses will be signified by a distinctive noise. Going back and forth through a single door counts too.

After the 20 crosses, the eye will reveal itself, as completely black with a purple pupil. When interacted with, the black eye will show the player a vision of a random door in the maze with, ranging anywhere from one immediately northeast of the entrance from Amoeba Woods, to one southeast of a pickaxe leaning against a wall, or one with a few X marks around it. If the player locates and enters this special door it will lead them to a darker isolated area in the same map that leads to the previously inaccessible Blue Rock Depths.
