The Bright Forest is an area accessible from the Solstice Forest.

Features

The Bright Forest is a forested area, with trees slowly changing the color of their leaves to the rhythm of the music. Rainbow plants and algae can be found across the area.

A small, black cube with a rainbow outline and eyes can be found in the area, being able to appear in five different locations, which gets randomized when the area is entered from the Solstice Forest. Equipping the Rainbow effect will make the cube follow you around, and it will turn slightly transparent if the Chainsaw effect is equipped. Interacting with this cube leads to the Rainbow Ruins.

Additionally, a mushroom-like creature can be found at the east, hidden in between the trees, extremely similar to the ones found in Smiley Face DECK, but with a different color palette. Interacting with this NPC will intermittently cover the screen with static, before changing the area to a deteriorated version of itself, where the rainbow algae is replaced by red flowers and red, smiling faces, again resembling those from Smiley Face DECK. A red, crudely drawn face of a girl can be seen rapidly move across the background, while the static keeps appearing in the screen repeatedly. In this state, there's a 1/35 chance that the creepy music of the event changes instead to the Smiley Face DECK music, but only for a couple of seconds before reverting to the original track. Going back to the Solstice Forest or finding the cube that leads to the Rainbow Ruins stops the event and seeing it at all unlocks Wallpaper #378.

Rainbow Ruins

The Rainbow Ruins (かがやく森, Kagayaku Mori) is a large, open area with the same algae and plants from the previous section. Many cubes with faces and other figures can be found decorating the area. Inhabiting this area are rainbow-colored 01-kun, who either approach Urotsuki with the Fairy or Rainbow effects equipped, or avoid her when equipping the Chainsaw, Grave, or Marginal effects.

An entrance can be found northwest from the entrance, which leads to a sewer-like passage within The Gutter. A blocked culvert can be found in the center of this passage, which can be opened by using the Chainsaw effect, leading to the Gutter's main entrance. Interacting with the top edge of the water without the Bike effect equipped will allow Urotsuki to jump further into the main area. Going instead to the right of the sewer-like passage will tint the screen red, before leading to the City of Liars.

To the southeast of the stands a rainbow-colored door leading to The Second Nexus.
