The Verdant Promenade is an area accessible from the Amphitheater in the Chainlink Lees or the door in Dreary Drains.

Map of the Verdant Promenade.

Features

An expansive estate filled with lush, green foliage, Verdant Promenade is a serene area with grandiose-looking architecture towering the surroundings, as well as candle lights brightening up the area's path.

Just near the place that you start from, there is a Black Hole Girl who will grant Menu Theme #29 upon interaction. Following that is a linear path, with one point of interest being a winged orb, ending in a building with a ladder to its roof, where you can find a large statue right near a ledge with a down arrow painted on the wall, and falling down from there is a point of no return.

Upon falling from the roof, the area branches west and east. Going all the way west leads to a path to a cave to the Dreary Drains, as well as a vending machine. Taking the eastward path, the area branches off north and south, where you can find a vending machine at the other side of the northern bridge, and going south is a path branching west and east. Taking the eastern bridge is a ladder to the top of the arcs, leading to a sparse, yet winding bridge that ends in another passage with a floating door to Bismuth World, while going to the western path hidden by the foliage is a path to the entrance of the Antiquated Resthouse, which is a dreary-looking, aged room, where sunlight shines from the window.

Directions

If Dreary Drains has been visited from the Verdant Promenade at least once:

After visiting Silent Sewers at least once:

If the connection between this area and Dreary Drains is unlocked and the Silent Sewers connection has been unlocked:

Trivia

  • A blue Black Hole Girl used to be found in the Antiquated Resthouse, which unlocked the Menu Theme #11 on interaction. It was a replacement of the one who could be find in the Industrial Maze, as an egg, but since the area was readded in version 0.119d Patch 1, the Menu Theme is now back to its original location.
