This page contains a list of all NPCs that appear in Irving's dream world with descriptions of them. Note that many of the character names are unofficial.
Effect Characters
This is a list of NPCs that give Irving effects when interacted with.
A giant grey rabbit that can be found in the sub-area of Attic World. Gives you the Dust Bunny effect when interacted with.
A monstrous bat-like creature that can be found in an isolated section of the Gloomy Wetlands. Gives you the Vampirism effect when interacted with.
A sobbing red anglerfish that can be found in the Benthic World. Gives you the Angler effect when interacted with.
A purple-haired girl with a weather vane lodged in her head that can be found the edge of the cliff at the Weather Station. Gives you the Bed Hair effect when interacted with.
A guy playing a pan flute with some kind of animal skull on his head that can be found in the Boiling Water World. Gives you the Deer effect when interacted with.
A guy with a skull mask and brown hair that can be found in the Pink Beach. Gives you the Skeleton Key effect when interacted with.
A large furry creature with a skull for a head that can be found in the Scarlet World. Gives you the Wendigo effect when interacted with.
A blue creature hanging from the ledge seemingly reaching out to catch something in the isolated section of Vermilion Rooftops. Gives you the Bellhop effect when interacted with.
A blue-haired figure that can be found in an office on the top floor of the Electro Tower. Gives you the Formal effect when interacted with. Interacting with her again while equipping Formal effect will cause her to give the player a thumbs up.

Lucky
Angler Girl
A blue girl with a Angler-like fin on top of her head. She can be found in the Aquarium World and appears to be an employee of a gift shop. Equipping the Angler effect can attract her and cause her to follow Irving.

Apartment Residents
Two figures that be found on the second and third floors of the Twilight Apartments. They appear to be residents of the apartment. When Twilight Apartments is in it's Dusk State, player will find that they will sleep on the bed in their room instead of randomly walking around the room.
Noisy Thinker
A figure that can be found on the hidden fifth floor of the Twilight Apartments.They wears a blue jacket and have pink hair, holding their head and swaying back and forth. Interacting with the NPC will simply make it spew a set of icons. Notably, when struck with the Vampirism effect, the NPC's icons will slightly differ to show two exclamation points, one question mark, and a bloody knife.
Candle Summoner
An NPC that can be found in the Twilight Apartments in it's Dusk State, on the second floor in a room with a painted ritual circle.The NPC wears a half-melted candle on their head, suspended in the middle of the ritual circle. Interacting with them will send Irving to Random Space.
Skewer Demon
A blue creature that can be found in Random Space with a hook stuck in its head. Interacting with it will cause the player to be randomly teleported to one of seven locations. In addition, when the Vampirism effect is equipped, the creature's sprite will change to another creature that can be found in the Oil World. Interacting with it now will locks the player's camera at Outside Irving's Room, which can only be escaped using the Mobile Phone effect or by waking up.
Foxy Boss
A character resembling a suited human with fox ears that can be found in the Waterworks Office. When interacting with him, he will act startled and immediately start running away from Irving. The player can follow him all the way to the Transmission Tower World by looking for his fallen hair on the ground, at which point interacting with him will give Irving some currency and Menu Theme #4 before returning to their office in their homeworld.
