The Torii Trail is an area accessible from the Illusive Forest.

Map of the Torii Trail with annotations. Chasers and notes have been marked in red.

Features

This area has bountiful branching paths with Torii arches lining over them. The panorama is an abstract creature. A few points of interest include a vending machine, a puddle of blood in a barricaded and coned-off section, and Shadow ???s that can be avoided by looping around them. If they catch Urotsuki, she will be trapped on an isolated island with two glowing lanterns beside it.

After some travelling and avoiding more chasers, Urotsuki will come across a long, linear path with several small platforms with traffic cones on them. One must beware, as this path contains a blob chaser obstructing the 1x1 path, which must be lured toward these platforms to proceed. The blob will wake Urotsuki upon contact. It can be difficult to see the blob with the Torii gates in the way; one way to approach is to slowly move down the path while being prepared to turn when the blob appears.

It's important to note that these chasers can appear in slightly different positions. Usage of the Invisible and/or Crossing effect is highly advised. Due to the slow action of the Crossing effect, be sure to keep a distance from the chasers. The Bat effect can be used to set a marker in a safe area, allowing Urotsuki a way out if she becomes trapped at a dead end or in the isolated section.

The player, upon succeeding, will reach the end of this path, which contains a gray portal; interacting with it will transport Urotsuki to a small platform with another, glitchy gray portal just above the normal one. Interacting with it will bring Urotsuki to Blue Screen Void.
