Deterioration is an area accessible by going up a ladder in the Disposal.

Features

This area appears to be a small apartment complex with several rooms. The outside area is a short path that starts at the ladder leading up from Disposal, and ends at the entrance to the apartment building itself. Near the front of the hallway inside is a black-haired girl, who sits on the floor and smokes. She does not appear to react to any effects.

Deeper in the hallway, there are a total of four rooms. These rooms appear to represent Sabitsuki's life. The first room appears to show a large vase on its side, with blood coming out of it. The second room shows a child version of Sabitsuki and the black-haired girl in a room with a table. The third room shows an older Sabitsuki sitting alone, with empty cans all over the room. Attempting to enter the fourth room will lead to a black screen with a humming sound until exited.

The final stage of the Night Visit event

When entering this area as Rust, the fourth room will become available, allowing the Night Visit event to be see. This room shows Sabitsuki at her computer, seemingly in a flow session. A Kaibutsu stands behind her, and they will sometimes move closer to Sabitsuki on subsequent room entries. The final stage of the event ends with the Kaibutsu approaching the glass wall separating Rust from the room, and banging on it with what appears to be a metal pipe.
