Festering Tomb is an area accessible from Maroon Tomb or Virtual Nightmare.

Features

Festering Tomb resembles a darker version of the Maroon Tomb, inheriting its labyrinthine structure. Unlike its parallel, it also contains profound darkness which makes navigating throughout the interconnected corridors difficult. However, this can be partially countered by the Lumen eidolon outside of the Endless Corridors.

Certain sections are separated by paths conformed by floating tiles and pillars decorated by blue torches.

Noteworthy features in this area include:

  • The Endless Corridors, a looping section consisting of blocks and a singular door. It also serves as the starting point from Maroon Tomb.
  • An S-shaped tiled pathway, where the door at the bottom leads to Blood Spine Zone.
  • A particular path of tiles that gradually transition into bright, rectangular pieces, which eventually reveal the path to Virtual Nightmare.
  • A room decorated with vine-shaped coral and a red river on the bottom, which can be traversed by boat. Going westwards reveals a line of stained glass windows that look identical to those in Scarlet River, which signifies a connection to that area.
  • A lonely CRT television displaying haunting images when interacted with.
