Map of Bleeding Ladders

Features

Bleeding Ladders is a world with a simple black, white, and red color scheme, consisting primarily of a series of horizontal platforms that are connected by red ladders with crooked rungs. The platforms themselves are dripping with bright red blood, though are otherwise monochrome. Bizarre creatures with many eyes and noodly appendages are visible in the background. The weather will be snowy by default, but it can be changed with the Climate eidolon.

From Cone Pole Path, the world starts off as a grassy platform with a huge walkable tongue. From this point, Minnatsuki has to walk into the mouth of a weird-looking white creature that will swallow them, transporting them to the aforementioned main area in front of a black gateway with three eyes.

Continuing to explore the main area, a black gate with "X" eyes can be found, taking Minnatsuki to a room containing a unique NPC that seems to ressemble an ovni with legs and plays a synthetic sound when interacted with. The Soulfire eidolon won't work on it. Two portraits can also be found, each displaying different creatures: The one at the left shows a long worm-like creature with a hand as a tail wrapped around a prismatic pillar while the one at the right shows a six-headed creature with two arms and three appendages floating above a black puddle.

Continuing to travel past the first gateway is another one with some sort of sigil above it instead of eyes that leads to a small subarea. This subarea contains two gates with crossed red eyes and buildings (also with eyes) in the background, along with a red sky and black clouds. Entering the gate at the opposite side will take Minnatsuki back to the main area, although in a different segment.

Another black gateway will be present albeit with two open eyes this time. This one will take Minnatsuki to a room containing a three-eyed creature with three pairs of tentacles instead of arms. Unlike the previous NPC, this one can die if they use the Soulfire eidolon.

Walking past this gateway is another one with "X" eyes, similar to the first described, but this one transports Minnatsuki to yet another segment of the world, this time more complex. Going down the ladder leads to two gateways, one with open eyes and one with "X" eyes. The first takes them to a room with a spiral creature with legs and clossed eyes. It can also be killed. The latter takes them eventually to a room with two chracters joined at the abdomen. Next to the characters is a flower that fades along them upon interaction.

Going up the ladder instead brings Minnatsuki to another gate with three eyes that takes them to yet another subarea, this time with a bulb looking gate and a regular one with black eyes in a black background that features an amorphous blinking cyclops in the background.

In this third segment, the paths branch. The rightmost platform contains another black gate with a two eyes above it that leads to a room with a portrait depicting a severed forearm with an eye on its palm . Going down eventually leads to a black gateway with a sigil at the top. This one leads to a room with a gaping mouth with teeth that serves as a connection to Scarlet River.

Passing this room, another black gateway with "X" eyes leads to a bigger room that contains a Vending Machine and the same three portraits that have been described before.

Going down the ladder finally leads to a room that takes Minnatsuki to the last segment of the world. Everything becomes linear from here, ending up in a room with an open connection sign.
