The Chromatic Limbo is an area accessible from Sugar Road.

Features

This is a rather flashy, but empty world that appears to be in the shape of a large island. What lies beyond the island is a mixture of various triangles that give its background a static-like appearance. As the player traverses the area, they will soon begin to notice that their vision and surroundings, including the warp from Sugar Road, change color based on the color of the tile they are stepping on.

While the appearance of the world may seem to be random at first, it actually behaves more like a puzzle. The tiles have 3 basic colors: red, green, blue and black. Black tiles cannot be crossed, but the other colors can be stepped on freely. When Urotsuki steps on one of the other colors, every other tile that is not that color will appear black, making other invisible colors seem like they can't be crossed.

When two colors overlap on one tile, however, that tile can be stepped on and will become a mixture of both colors. For example: red and blue together makes magenta. When this magenta tile is stepped on, it will show all the red and blue tiles in the area and all magenta tiles:

This can also be applied to red/green and green/blue mixtures. When red and green overlap they become yellow tiles, and green and blue together make cyan tiles. Stepping on one of these mixed tiles will show all tiles of the colors they're mixed from as well as all their color tiles:

If all the colors are mixed into one tile (red + green + blue/magenta + yellow + cyan), the tile will become white. When a white tile is stepped on, they'll show all the true colors of the tiles around the player. These tiles, when stepped on, help greatly in deciding what the best path to take is, as all the black tiles shown from this perspective can be walked around and every walkable tile is shown.

This area as a whole does not contain many notable features except for a few warps that teleport you from section to section. Most of these are in the shape of the number 8 and provide access to new blocked off areas leading up to a special warp. Unlike the others, this warp has a bouncing appendage on the top of it, is partially cut off at the bottom, and has a barricade within it which suggests it may lead to another world in the future.
