The Vending Machine Factory is an area accessible from a staircase in the Underground Garage.
Features
This area is a relatively dim environment, with somewhat imposing music playing. It starts off in a lobby, with a benign Shadow Lady on the front desk. If the player's Variable #44 number has a remainder less than 2 after being divided by 7, the shadow lady will not be at the counter. Heading to the elevator here will take you to the Snack Gallery, and entering the western passage leads to the garage, where a cat may sometimes show up sitting on one of the stacks with a one in five chance rolled upon entry to the factory. Seeing the cat unlocks Wallpaper #411. Heading above the trucks will lead you to the shutters which rattle when interacted with. Heading back over to the southeastern exit leads to an area featuring a conveyor belt with assembled vending machines, and going further is a corridor with vending machines ready to be completed. This area branches into two paths, where taking the lower path leads to a bedroom, and taking the upper path leads to another lobby.
The upper lobby is a bright, isometric room with a couch and four doors, upper-left being locked. The upper-right door leads to the recreation room, with a large TV which may show an eye upon interaction, a massage chair that activates when Urotsuki sits on it, and some cabinets, and the lower-right door is the meeting room. There is a chance that the upper-left room will be left open, enabling you to go further into another corridor to an area with a vending machine, a passage, and an elevator. Alternatively, interacting with the upper-left door while it's locked plays a series of knocks, and mimicking it makes the door open without the need for re-entering the room. Failing the knocking pattern requires you to re-enter the room, though.
Heading to the passage takes you to the Shadow Lady's location, where chainsawing and getting caught by her will have Urotsuki trapped in either a vending machine among a row of them, or a manufacturing control room with components passed through the conveyor belt, where said components can be taken and returned, or stacked on another component. Taking the elevator leads to a room with another vending machine and a passage to the balcony, where there is a chance that a smoking creature would be present on the upper balcony.
