The Nothingness is an area accessible from the great rope at the end of Broken Passageway.

Features

The Nothingness is a completely white world that will spawn you in front of a door back to the Memory Room. Trying to walk away from the door will just loop you back to the door unless you meet the requirements for the full version of this world.

Spoilers:

[Show/Hide]

After collecting all Memories and Empties, the world will instead become a gigantic 500 x 500 tile expanse that comprises of a few small landmarks, many of which are not of particular interest. Muma will spawn in a small flower garden towards the top eastern area of the map. The door back to the Memory Room will not be present in this version of the world, so the only way you can return is by using SHIFT to teleport back to the Memory Room.

A white overlay will start to fade in and out over the screen, which increases in strength every 44 seconds. It will reach max strength at about 5.8 minutes, where it will start to become impossible to see briefly for every few seconds. To make it much easier to see, it is strongly recommended to turn down the contrast and brightness of your monitor if available. Otherwise, it may be nearly impossible to make out structures as they are also white, especially once the strength of the overlay increases.

Heading down south from this garden, there will be a large rows of pillars stacked in a triangle formation, which can be used as a navigational landmark to get to other places of interest.

Going south and a few tiles west from the bottom right corner of the pillar triangle will bring you to a hole that is walled off. If you were able to go through the wall, through cheating or using test play mode, the hole would transfer you to the Warped Void, a debug world which contains doors that teleport you to every location in the game. Going east and a few tiles south from this hole will bring you to the entrance of House.

Going west and about 30-35 tiles from the top of the pillar triangle will bring you to a spiral area that has a bunny nearby that can be reached by going from the top left corner of the spiral. Interacting with this bunny will play a jingle and make it follow Muma. If you went into the House, the bunny will try to navigate back to Muma and then follow Muma once they reach her again. Going from the left end of the spiral (not the spiral part itself) and the north will lead you to a large tree.
