The Nexus is the main starting point of the dream world. When starting a new game, a random season is selected: Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter. Based on the current season, the atmosphere of certain worlds (most notably, The Nexus) will change accordingly:

-In Spring, Birds will fly around as the main area takes a pinkish appearance.

-In Summer, The Nexus will get flooded and overrun with fish, as the many objects scattered about start growing vegetation.

-In Autumn, The Nexus will take a calm appearance.

-In Winter, snow starts to fall as the objects freeze.

Features

The Nexus contains eight different objects, each leading to a different location within the dream world:

• The tent-like structure in the top-left leads to Desolate Desert.
• The flower in the top-middle leads to Beach.
• The elevator in the top-right leads to Space.
• The closet in the middle-left leads to Residential Corridor World.
• The large droplet in the middle-right leads to Fantasy Bathroom.
• The orb in the bottom-left leads to Musical Orbs World.
• The mouth in the bottom-middle leads to Thorny Garden.
• The "D" sign in the bottom-right leads to Lush Station.
