The FC Caverns C is an area accessible from Color Cubes World. It's one of the three parts of the FC Caverns.

Features

Two of the passages in Color Cubes World lead to the FC Caverns C, with the green passage leading to the left entrance, and the red passage leading to the right entrance. Depending on which one you enter, different cubes in the area will be non-collidable. The left entrance lets you go through the green cubes, while the right entrance lets you go through the red cubes. This has no importance since they are able to be changed in the area.

In the center of the area, there are a wealth of different colored cubes. Hitting the bottom of the cubes swaps the tangibility of the color you hit to the color that was intangible. There is also a door here leading to a looping room akin to the ones in VVVVVV's Teleporter Maze. After heading into the other door here, an ascending vertical shaft awaits which eventually leads to a small corridor leading to outer space, which corrupts as you head outside. After the game corrupts you will be sent to Home Within Nowhere and cannot return to the FC Caverns from here.

FC Caverns Area

Two of the passages lead to a platforming section like the one in FC Caverns, with the green passage leading to the left entrance, and the red passage leading to the right entrance. Depending on which one you enter, different cubes in the area will be non collidable. The left entrance lets you go through the green cubes, while the right entrance lets you go through the red cubes.

In the center of the area, there are a wealth of different colored cubes. Hitting the bottom of the cubes swaps the tangibility of the color you hit to the color that was intangible, and where a door can be found.

Entering said door, you will find yourself in what appears to be a section taking place in space, as you are greeted by a yellow variant of the monitor-headed creature from the Techno Condominium side of the FC Caverns, isolated within a wall. The key to going past this section is taking advantage of the fact that the sides of the screen are looping.

From there, you will enter another section filled with colored cubes, and making your way up will eventually lead to a door to a small corridor to outer space. Making your way to the end will cause the game to glitch, eventually sending you to the Home Within Nowhere.

Trivia

  • The TV-headed NPC in the FC Caverns C also present in the FC Caverns A appears to be a reference to VVVVVV, a platformer with a similar aesthetic to this area.
  • The shift menu is automatically activated here, even if you disabled it.
  • Version 0.119b Patch 5 contained a bug which allowed you to explore out of bounds, which allowed players to see debug rooms, the platforming section of Color Cubes World and some other worlds that have yet to be released earlier than intended.
  • From Version 0.119b Patch 12 until Version 0.119c Patch 2, the player could clip out of bounds by utilizing several effects in the last corridor of the Color Cubes World section. Upon doing so and heading directly left past the edge of the screen, a hidden door could be found, leading the player to Windswept Scarlet Sands. The connection to this area has since been moved to Static Labyrinth, the door was removed and the glitch to clip out of bounds was fixed, likely due to the difficulty of accessing and locating the area.
  • Prior to Version 0.119c Patch 2, the layout of the area used to be more complex and one vertical room was present before the room with tv-headed NPC, which was likely removed due to being too complex for some players.
