Annotated map of the area

Features

Gemstone Cave is a large cavern lined with several deposits of gemstones throughout. The area initially starts as a dark, windy passage, inhabited by bats and spiders.

At one point, you'll see an opening in the cave closed with wooden tables, which can be broken with the Chainsaw. At the end of the passage, there is a wiggling, colourful worm creature that will play glitchy sounds when interacted with. If it is chainsawed, it will turn green and stop moving. While walking away from it, the worm will rapidly catch up with you, and flash the screen with a creepier version of itself in a jumpscare-like manner. After getting jumpscared, the opening will now be barricaded.

If you keep going down, the cave will eventually open up into a much larger section with a reflective floor and a plethora of gemstones. At the bottom of this room is an opening which when approached, will cause the scenery to slowly pulse with a yellowish tinge. This opening leads to a sunset savannah with a view of the stars. In the middle of this section is a star on the ground, which gives Menu Theme #54 when interacted with. At the far end of this section, going right will take you to a night setting of the savannah. If you keep going right again, you'll find that the savannah's sky will turn fuchsia, and a cyan opening in the ground will take you to Sunken Paradise.
