Sketch Plains is an area accessible from a waterway behind a door of the upper sections of Forgotten Megalopolis.

Map of the Sketch Plains.

Features

Sketch Plains is a somewhat large, looping, open environment consisting of a terrain made of paper containing scribbles, sketches of cubic structures, paint blots, trees, and reptilian fossils. Living scribbles that resemble dinosaurs lurk the area.

Southeast of the entrance, you can find a spiral-shaped pond with a pit and a ladder with a giant sketch of a winged creature over it. Entering this ladder will take you to the GB Forest.

GB Forest

This is a small forest with a straightforward path going north, which leads to a great tree with an avian creature standing near it. Interacting with the creature or the World Tree will trigger a fullscreen cutscene showing the avian creature standing next to the World Tree, with the BGM being more calm with a windy sound. Pressing the interaction buttons during the event will advance the cutscene, with the last interaction making the avian creature briefly look at the player before it dissapears.

Backtracking after the cutscene will reveal that the ladder has disappeared, leaving a different path in its place, which is also straightforward. It features a series of passageways to some deeper sections of the forest, ending in a small maze-like area with a scanline overlay. The exit here returns you to Forgotten Megalopolis.
