Features

Vase World, as its name implies, is mostly filled with large vases containing strange bioluminescent plants. You can get wallpaper #324 upon entering the area for the first time.

Initially, the area is mostly empty, save for the ponytailed NPC named Warane-san who will take you back to Broken Faces Area. Equipping the Insect effect will make her transform into a green creature with a floral headpiece and tentacles for legs, slowly walk away from Urotsuki, and audibly refuse to teleport her to Broken Faces Area.

Chainsawing her will make her transform into a blue squid-like creature and alter the colors of the vases and plants. While in this state, she will not teleport Urotsuki to Broken Faces Area and will not return to normal until you leave most of the nearby worlds, like the Burial Desert. Going to certain nearby worlds will return her to her normal state, like the Hand Fields.

Interacting with Warane-san once blue and squid-ified will cause the screen to redden and make an empty vase with a doorway in it appear in the center of the area, which will take you to the Vase Interior. Warane-san will then stay in place and cry blood.

Vase Interior

While Vase World was fairly benign, the Vase Interior (裏花瓶, Ura Kabin, Behind/Under the Vase) is quite sinister in appearance. Blood, gore, and broken pottery litter the area, which is inhabited by a large number of one-eyed knights in blue and yellow armor, along with a single fleshy pink NPC.

Equipping the Chainsaw or Wolf effect near the pink NPC will make it bare a set of monstrous fangs and slowly run away from you, and interacting with its altered form with the Bat effect equipped will take you to the Hand Fields.

Additionally, among the cyclops knights in this area is a lone knight with two red eyes who will spin around wildly towards you (and make the sound of a door opening when interacted with) if you equip the Grave, Child, or Plaster Cast effect, or use the Crossing effect. If you equip the Eyeball Bomb effect, it will saunter towards you and teleport you to the Vase Path if you interact with it.

Vase Path

A little more overgrown than the interior, the Vase Path (花瓶道, Kabin michi) is a much larger scrolling area with much more plant life. Strange curly plants can be found growing here in loose formations, and many of the vases in this area are filled with bioluminescent plants.

Entering from the Vase Interior will put you in front of two black and white vases.

Just northwest of the two vases is a large formation of plants that leads up to a vase with a doorway that return you to the Vase Interior. Directly to the west of them is another vase with a doorway surrounded by broken pottery and debris that will take you to the Burial Desert.
