Salsa Desert is an area accessible from the lone tortilla chip at Scorched Wasteland.

Features

Salsa Desert is a looping area with long red salsa paths, set against light yellow sand. Puddles of guacamole are frequent throughout the area. There are also many tortilla chips stuck in the ground; several of which have bits of salsa on them. The entrance from Scorched Wasteland is a giant folded tortilla chip with a hole near the bottom, leaving a jagged archway. This is surrounded by many more chips.

Shortly southeast of the entrance is a brown-tinted standard vending machine with a small trash can and chip bench beside it. This vending machine only dispenses a yellow bag of chips (Snack #134). If your in-game season is fall, however, the vending machine will be relocated to a different spot. Interacting with it will make Urotsuki step back, and after playing an ominous tune, the vending machine will open, revealing an empty space in it. Going through it will take you to Abandoned Joes.

There are also unique stretched out benches, seemingly made of tortilla chips. Some benches are standard-sized, while others stretch upwards, needing to be climbed.

North of the vending machine is a path of salsa shaped to look like a pot with eyes.
