Peaceful Shoal is an area accessible from the shell in Snowman World.

Map of Peaceful Shoal.

Features

Peaceful Shoal is an extensive, serene world filled with vibrant aquatic life. Starfish and shells dot the sandy islands. Orb-like plants with faces grow out of the water. Smooth, sparkly coral-like formations and purple cuboid structures adorn the area. Small, clear blobs roam, and colorful striped fish bob across the foreground.

Equipping the Chainsaw effect will make the smiling cuboid structure frown, and its frown will intensify if the Marginal effect is equipped. The roaming blobs make a noise when interacted with and run away if the Chainsaw effect is equipped. The blobs are also fans of the Cake effect, gathering around Urotsuki while it is equipped. All of the moving creatures will stop in response to the Crossing effect.

Immediately southeast of the entrance is an island that can be walked on. A penguin stands on the walkable section, bobbing up and down. It makes a high-pitched noise when interacted with. The Penguin effect will fill it with joy and make it move faster. Equipping the Chainsaw effect makes it stop moving. Elsewhere, an island has a big, happy turtle on it.

Northeast of the penguin is another walkable part of an island containing a humanoid NPC with a checkered shirt, glasses, and moving antennae, sitting on a bench. They make a different high-pitched noise upon interaction, which sounds like the Insect effect. Equipping the Chainsaw effect turns their glasses white, and they stop smiling. In reaction to the Marginal effect, they roll their eyes and barely make a sound. The Haniwa effect causes their glasses to flash different colors, their antennae to move quicker, and their sound to deepen.

Heading south from the entrance leads to two colorful cones above an island shaped like a uterus, which has an open clam with a pearl on it. Equipping the Chainsaw effect will unblock the space between the cones, and walking through takes Urotsuki to a walkable section on another island, featuring many more cones surrounding a path to a larger one, which has a door in it. In front of the door is a construction sign. Chainsawing this object causes a fierce roar to be heard, followed by the sign being replaced by a humanoid version with legs and a face. Unequipping the Chainsaw returns it to normal.

Trivia

  • This world has many smiling things in it: the NPCs, certain plants, a specific cuboid structure, and some of the islands, which are shaped like smiley faces.
