Map of Mural Passage

Mural Passage is an area accessible from the colorful pattern in Deep Space Hole.

Features

Mural Passage is a series of dark narrow hallways with many intricate works of art adorning their walls. There are also small rooms that house unique murals.

Entering the world from Deep Space Hole and traveling east through the hallways will eventually bring Minnatsuki to a hallway with a painting of a large face with a door-sized mouth, seemingly in a dormant state. Travelling further leads to three possible ways. Following the passage linearly leads to a looping hall containing various eyes. Each time the player loops there's a 1/3 chance that Tusuq Warmi appears, her presence is evident by the eyes that fix their looks on her. Right before the looping hall there's a branch at north. Walking to the right from this branch leads to the sacrifice room, a long way down to the jaws of a big dragon named Allallanka (or Adrielle); the pathway is blocked by a construction sign. Walking to the north instead leads to the room with a switch, this switch turns Mural Passage's state to the Haunted Neon Passage.

Haunted Neon Passage

In this state, the passage is bright and the murals' colors get replaced with vibrant, neon ones. Neon ghosts will invade the previously unhabited rooms, which seem to love the Lumen eidolon. The BGM will also change to a more upbeat one. Along with this, Allallanka will now be dormant. Attempting to burn her will result in her nose expelling the fumes. Tusuq Warmi will now stop being hidden and she now sits by the end of the hall. Killing her gives access a new room that houses another switch (which seems to be defunct). Interacting with the switch briefly reverts the neon colors and grants the Mural and Neon Mural Menu Themes. The previously dormant large face in one of the paths awakes from his slumber and now works as a connection to Neon Centipede Caverns. Returning from there takes Minnatsuki to the neon state, so to revert the world back they will need to hit the switch or enter from Deep Space Hole again (the warp to this world stops working in the neon state).

Tusuq Warmi

Tusuq Warmi seems to be the only human-like habitant of this place. Her behavior depends on the version of the world. For the non-neon state, she will appear by luck each time the player exits the looping hall from the right (and thus looping again). Upon interaction, generally, she will stare at the player really, really close. However, when Kalimba is equipped, she will start dancing as Minnatsuki plays a melody. In the neon state, her hall stops looping and now has an exit. She will sit down and ignore all the eidola, even the aforementioned Kalimba; instead, she yells at Minnatsuki.

After being killed, the eyes of her room will mourn for her. She will remain dead until the next spirit session.
