The Cog Maze is an area accessible from the rotating screw at the top floor of the Construction Frame Building.
Features
The Cog Maze is a teleport maze consisting of floating gears of various sizes, serving as platforms. Rotating Phillips-head screws on each platform act as portals between other gears.
A slightly shorter screw on a platform to the northwest leads to the Construction Frame Building.
Another screw leads to a slightly darker area, with a bent screw, which upon interaction leads to the Forest Pier. If it is the first time interacting with it, a small cutscene will show that the shortcut from Urotsuki's Dream Apartments to the Forest Pier is now open. A platform in the west constructed of three cogs with one screw in the middle contains a walking mannequin, which serves as a one-way teleporter to Nail World.
If the player has specifically arrived here from Sprout World→Green Neon World→Construction Frame Building and has not left this route by entering any other worlds on the way, a specific screw will now lead to Acoustic Lounge. Exiting this world through any means before interacting with said screw will make the path inaccessible.
Directions
- The Nexus → Red Streetlight World → Gray Road → Sprout World → Green Neon World → Construction Frame Building → Cog Maze
Trivia
- The "Daydream" image found in Cosmic World was once located here in the dark area. It replaced the original one while the building area wasn't present.
- Menu Theme #9 was previously found in this area by interacting with the bent screw used to replace the one in the Forest Pier, as an egg, when the area was not available.
