Dave Spector is an NPC found in the main area of White Desert A.

Overview

Dave Spector is a monochromatic human-like figure with a large head, big eyes, and a small body. Two Dave Spectors can be found in the White Desert. One is found wandering near a path while another appears near what seems to be an empty, looping tunnel.

The two of them react differently to equipping the Knife effect, with the one near the path running away and the one near the tunnel freezing. Killing the one near the tunnel allows access to new areas in the White Desert, depending on where you enter from the tunnel it was standing by. Entering left leads to a large void inhabited by Monoe while entering right will lead to a straight path ending with where the Severed Heads can be seen.

Trivia

• Dave Spector can be seen walking backwards, like Seccom Masada-sensei. They are the only two characters that walk backwards in the game.
  • This occurs because, just like Seccom Masada, Dave Spector's left-facing and right-facing sprites are swapped in their sprite set, giving the impression the sprite is looking left while the character is technically facing right.
• Dave Spector is named after the resemblance to the American television producer Dave Spector who is popular in Japan.
