The Rainbow Towers is an area accessed through the Teleport Rune in Subterranean Research Center.

Features

The Rainbow Towers are a series of colorful block towers with large stretches of blue railing around and through them against a twinkling night sky. Objects and people will occasionally be seen flying across the screen, including a caped hero, a pencil, a balloon, and a rocket.

A purple tower surrounding a long ladder can be found at the center of the area. Climbing up this ladder leads to Eggun, a creature shaped as an egg. Equipping the Chainsaw will cause them to have a distressed expression and using it will crack them before dropping 500夢.

Climbing down the ladder and then going right leads to a green tower which hides a short, secret passage behind, which goes down. At the end of this path there's a purple creature with a glowing antenna which, as Urotsuki gets closer, will turn their head to look at her. Using the Marginal will cause them to get afraid and turn away, while equipping the Spacesuit effect will make them to look at Urotsuki with a smug expression. Equipping the Chainsaw effect will make them vanish.

Continuing instead to the right from the green tower leads to a white tower with a small UFO on top, which on interaction unlocks the connection between this area and the Chaos Exhibition.

There is also a large UFO with an alien that has a 1/500 chance of appearing on screen every half-second, similar in fashion to Yume Nikki's Takofuusen. After seeing it once, the chance is increased to 1/50 per half-second. It's important to note that, when entering this area from the Subterranean Research Center, there's only a 1/2 chance that this UFO can appear. The presence of the purple creature described previously indicates that the UFO can't spawn. However, equipping the chainsaw near the creature will initiate the random chances for the UFO to appear. Due to a programming error, there's a chance that, when entering the area from Chaos Exhibition, neither the purple creature nor the UFO spawn. Because of this, if this map is accessed from the aforementioned area and one desires to see the UFO, it's recommended to enter the portal to the Subterranean Research Center and return to actually be able to spawn the UFO.
